TSB Bowl of Brooklands Stage
BOWL NIGHT OUT
This special TSB Bowl of Brooklands event is an exciting addition to the On Stage line up, hosted by Taranaki’s engaging and witty DMAN Entertainment. Come end enjoy the exciting line-up of talented performances from around New Zealand.
Since opening at Bowl Night Out in 2015, nomad have made their mark with the massive single Oh My My, which contributed to their nomination for Breakthrough Artist of the Year at the NZ Music Awards. They are back in New Plymouth this summer to perform with their new band, and have bookings for festivals and events up and down the country. Aasha Mallard, Will McGillivray and Cullen Kiesanowski formed nomad when they were just 15 and their differing musical tastes collided to shape their alt-pop/folk sound. Now 18, they have left school and there is no plan B. They want to make music their career.
Suburban Goons is the product of four individual creators, a sweaty summer, passion and the ignorant willingness to experiment. Formed in the New Plymouth Boys’ High School guitar cupboard, Liam Clow, Jesse Irvine, Toby Hooper, Johnathan Hayles and Sam Egli challenge the sometimes depressing New Plymouth suburbia and come out victorious with a sound brimming with youth and energy. Liberating.
